The Honey Harbour Historical Society is planning to write a book on the history of Beausoleil Island. They are beginning the huge task of collecting the pictures, stories and artifacts that will be the basis for the book about this very special place. They are asking residents, permanent and seasonal, as well as people who attended any of the camps on Beausoleil, boaters and tent campers to participate in the compilation of this book. They are hoping that you will tell them your stories as well as your historical connection to this beautiful island and that you will allow them to include those stories in the book.

The 1st Honey Harbour Top 50 Pike Tournament is being held at Village Marina. Entry fee is $230 which includes big fish and lucky duck draws.

All Top 50 Pike Series Tournaments are not for profit with various charities benefiting. Check out www.topfifty.ca for more information on rules.

The Township of Georgian Bay welcomes you to a spectacular day-long adventure of over 15 architecturally, historically, culturally and socially significant Muskoka heritage structures along the rugged coastline of Georgian Bay – all free admission!

Each location – not always open to the public – will showcase a different artist who lives in Georgian Bay, or who celebrates its beauty through his/her work. Sculpture, fine art, glass, photography, pencil drawings, watercolour and original A.J. Casson paintings await you on this rugged coastline adventure.
